My fiancé and I came all the way from Lacrosse, Wi and this place was absolutely delicious! I had the Catfish dinner with candied yams and Mac n cheese, and she had Shrimp and cheesy grits! Everything was so full of flavor and seasoned to perfection! The music and the atmosphere was definitely a vibe! It felt like I was at my auntie’s house with all my cousins! Our server Corell was cool and attentive! We give them a 10/10 and we will definitely be back!

We spent a good portion of the day trying to find New Years Day soul food IYKYK…. The atmosphere (TV, sports, music) and staff (attentive & extremely welcoming). We ordered fried pork chops with greens and black eyes peas, Chicken wings with Mac and cheese & mashed potatoes, jerk turkey legs and sweet potato cornbread. The food phenomenal 1000 out of 10 highly recommend. The one restaurant we were able to find open on New Years Day. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

1700 Pull Up didn't disappoint. The food was great. I'm a very picky eater. And this will be my spot. The catfish and turkey legs is 🔥 🔥 (seasoed and hot). The yams will take you back years, child hood years! 6 years away from Milwaukee and this was really welcomed. This is the Milwaukee I remembered. Correl was great!! He got to us right away, friendly, and was on it. The bar was great! Got the customers engaged and everyone enjoyed their visit. I was accompanied with 2 others and we orderedextra. Sorry no pictures. When I saw my food and from the smell of it, I had no time to waste 😆

Great food, fun atmosphere and nice servers. I was going to say something about workers smoking hookah while working, but if that’s the vibe then that’s the vibe. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a taste for soul food! I also liked that the greens had no pork. Other pluses- friendly staff, good music (a little loud but if you’re okay with not talking or scream conversations then it’ll be good for you) Great parking & good drinks. 10/10
