Everything they release is excellent from barrel aged sours to NEIPAs.Years later it's still my favorite Milwaukee area brewery!Years later still and I proclaim this the best brewery in Wisconsin!
I love 1840! They have my favorite Black Friday beer, their plumpy black - a sour beer with multiple black fruit! They come out with multiple versions of their plumpy every year and I have to try them all. Some are better than others, but it's always a good time. Plus each year they release a seafoam sour made with an algae that turns the the beer green! If you like sours put 1840 on your list to visit!

A great range of beers that are ever-changing! They have some good locally made snacks as well. I highly recommend the jar of salsa and bag if chips for $10. It's a cool, rustic atmosphere. My only complaint is that they no longer allow dogs inside the brewery.
