We visited Milwaukee from Iowa, and before leaving that Sunday afternoon we looked up a good soul food restaurant and was led to Taste of Soul... Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by this beautiful bartender then we went to place our order and spoke to the owner, such great hospitality and the food was awesome. Thank you for everything and we'll visit again when vacationing

Excellent flavor and menu options. The sports bar and restaurant atmosphere is top notch. I'm from Nashville and will definitely be back soon. Thanks for the friendly service. 👏🏾

They are so unprofessional! If they was to have a birthday party pls called and asked ahead because they won’t tell you, to where you wouldn’t be able to get nothing to eat!! Very rude and unorganized.

Not answering the phone and not having food they claim to sale waste of time

They have somewhat decent food! We only had the fish and shrimp with spaghetti & potato salad! Asked for it to be fried hard and still was soft! Side of banana pudding that went to the trash expeditiously! 2 people for $60! Also this much for food with no drinks to wash it down! Not no cold drinks/pop, no tea, no kool aid etc! Just a drink from the bar area! You only get the major sides I guess on Sundays! Other days is limited! I will not come back unless it’s Sunday to maybe give another chance!

First time eating any of their food, which was the soul food this past Sunday. I have the deep fried salmon, macaroni and cheese, cornbread dressing, coleslaw, topped with a cornbread muffin. Everything was equivalent to eating in heaven if I ever witnessed such.

No exaggeration. These people are of no friends or relationship as far I know, so I have nothing to gain by trying to promote on their behalf or because of the fact we’re black.

I really felt good all over knowing I was cheating my strict all salad, vegetables, fruit, and herbal tea fast/diet that day.

They really earned my 5 stars across the board. Good people, good service, good atmosphere, and great soul food. Hands down.

First I wanna say the food was really good BUT THE WAITER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE WITH THE RED HAIR ITS LIKE SHE DIDN'T WANNA BE AT WORK , communication was horrible we telling her what we wanted and was getting different..
