If you’re on the fence about trying Apertivo, let me convince you to finally check it out. From the cocktails to the appetizers to the entrees, everything we had was excellently prepared and presented. Food is fresh and flavorful and the space itself is filled with an old world, yet sophisticated charm. Great for a date night or for a large group! Highly, highly recommend Apertivo!
Great food, drink, service and history. Didn't know what to expect from what I saw online. Seemed like An italian restaurant but also very much like a bar. Turns out it's both great cocktails and Italian. I got the fungi pizza and my friend got the greek flat bread. Both very good, though I do prefer thinner on the crust. I got a manhattan neat and it was great. They have a big variety of bitters and amaro and other types of apparitives that probably helped. Then...
Happy with the cheese & charcuterie board, the amaretto sour, and the spicy sausage pasta (wasn't too spicy, just a lingering heat). We sat at the bar. Tried a bite of the bacon jam flatbread which seemed ok.
