We ordered take out. When we arrived to pick up the food, it wasn’t it quite ready. The gentleman who brought out the food to us gave us two sodas as a thank you for being patient. We really didn’t mind waiting. We love hot food. When we got home and took the food out, it smelled so good. It all tastes even better. We got the Baithak platter and butter chicken. We got garlic naan and plain naan. Sooooooo delicious and my kids loved it too (12 and 5). We ordered a second time about two months later. Different items. Just as delicious. We are so happy to have this on the neighborhood!

Had issues with the online ordering system, but had no problem calling to place my order. They had it done in 20 minutes. Easy parking outside the restaurant. Everything was delicious. I'll be back!

We have ordered takeout from Baithak twice in the last month and really enjoyed the food both times. We'll definitely be ordering again.
We eat Indian food regularly but Baithak has several dishes on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in MKE: Bihari kebab, Kabul pulao, chicken kahari, etc. One of the other things that stands out about the food is that it a lot lighter and not greasy or heavy like many other south asian restos but still super flavorful.
Spice levels are great, too.

I ordered aloo paratha and asked if it was fresh. Staff confirmed it was freshly made, but it was clearly frozen and reheated (rubbery texture, dry filling). When I mentioned it, they still insisted it was fresh. I don’t mind waiting for fresh food — just be honest with customers. Disappointed experience.

The aloo prantha served to us were frozen, when questioned they said “not possible” but, the taste and texture definitely gave away the fact that they were frozen. We waited 25 minutes for our order to arrive although the place was empty. Service was good but the food tasted bland.

Awesome restaurant in Milwaukee. I had the Nirahi and it was delicious. I recommend the Kandahari Naan with your meal. It matches perfectly. Very affordable for an eloquent meal too. It has class and a great meal.

Incredible authentic Indian and Pakistani food. Everything we had was delicious — beef nihari, chicken korma, with kandahari naan. Run don’t walk for the gajar halwa dessert. If you don’t like heat, you can ask for mild spiciness. Staff are attentive and friendly. Nice family-run place.
