It's sad to see the slow demise of a Milwaukee landmark. They used to have a great menu.

Nice venue sports bar with good food. The food was delicious and we were impressed when the food was served still hot. They timed the food perfectly where the burger and fries where still hot.

The Reuben sandwich was not so good, the corn beef was brown and rubbery. The hamburger sliders and fries were very good though.

Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, fish fries were common place. As our live's course took us to different areas of the country, Friday fish fries were not common and eventually became a thing of the past. So naturally when we came back home to visit, a fish fry was a must. But, we had only one chance to get it right. Beer Bellys could not have been a better choice. Not only was the fish fried to perfection, all the sides were better than we had expected making the whole dining experience enjoyable beyond expectations. As a CA resident used to paying SoCal prices, when it came time to pay, the final surprise was also easy on my wallet. From now on, our trips back home to Milwaukee will include a Friday and a night out at Beer Bellys!
Need to update Yelp and Beer Belly website to indicate that you are closed on Mondays. I have flown in from out of town both under the old ownership, and new ownership planning on meeting friends there on two separate occasions only to find out the restaurant was closed. I have been a fan for many years, and neither the Yelp review page or Beer Belly's website reflects this in their Hours Open schedule listing.

We are from out of town. We drove passed this place and thought the name was cool. NOT. We order double shot drinks and they were weak. !! Then we order a patty melt and steak sandwich Needless to say the hamburger was frozen and the steak sandwich was extremely fatty, unable to even cut The waitress was Nice although she seemed shy or quiet. The cook/ owner or the 2 men behind bar were lacking a friendly atmosphere It's to bad this pub has potential but lacks great food and fun bar atmosphere

This was our first time here with the new owner, the food was amazing, and the staff was great, the new owner is Wonderful ! If you haven't tried the new Beer Bellys you are missing out. We will definitely be back !
