First time at Black Sheep and it did not disappoint. The happy hour specials were very reasonable. Food was delicious and our server, though her first day serving alone, was great! Will definitely be back.
Went for dinner on a Wednesday and had an OK experience. Ordered the pork shoulder risotto that was served over cheesy white rice, poutine that didn’t have any sausage gravy, and the flank steak was sliced pretty thickly and with the grain rather than against. We were also told the drinks were happy hour when we sat down (ordered wine and beer), but were charged full price. We didn’t feel comfortable mentioning these things to staff due to how busy it was and lack of engagement...
Extremely friendly staff across the board (host, server, food runner). Emily W was especially great. Food was delicious and fast; super unique options you can’t find everywhere else.
