Buckley's has fantastic food, service, ambiance and architecture. The food is out-of-this-world good. Four of us each had exquisitely prepared dishes. The flavors were perfection and the presentation was on target. The service was amazing - not overly attentive nor did we feel neglected. Our server was able to "read the table" well and did not interrupt deep conversation. The exterior invites you in. Go there!

Fantastic dining experience for our anniversary, friendly and helpful staff, attentive waiter, food came out fairly quick and was delicious (chicken Marsala and spicy vodka pasta). Great atmosphere and would definitely recommend to others as well as return to dine again!

Very small portions. We ordered the lamb lollipop for $17 and was given one super tiny lamp chop that we had to figure out how to cut & share. The only protein option to add to pasta was two shrimp for an additional $9.. Also, it was our wedding anniversary and the staff knew and we weren't offered dessert or anything complimentary.. A bit disappointed about our first experience here. In addition, the restaurant is pretty loud.

Server was annoying...sounded like John Malkovich's character from the movie Rounders. The restaurant itself is beautiful and a favorite. But their fish fry was over-cooked (looked burned)...and the mushroom ragout was dry. Good wine list and great setting. I am not giving up on this place yet.

Great food and service exceptional, the ambiance very cool. My wife and I will definitely be back.

The food was excellent and the service was good. But we weren't able to really relax and enjoy our meal because the noise level made us so uncomfortable. We were seated in the middle room at a lovely table next to the windows. The room was 1/2 full when we arrived and filled up as the night went on. We were with friends but we basically gave up trying to talk over the crowd noise, even when the room was 1/2 full. We just ate our dinners and took a dessert to go so we could enjoy each others company at home.

We absolutely loved your restaurant! The truffled artichokes,Duroc pork chop (melts in your mouth) and chicken marsala are to die for. The classic desserts are awesome. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out-a touch of modern with classic tradition. The bar is beautiful! The custom corner sign on the building is a true work of art. The patio with planters is cozy and quaint. In the 4 years we've been coming to Milwaukee, we're shocked we just found out about Buckley's now. It has never come up at the top of social media or restaurant searches. We just happened to drive by and it honestly reminded me of restaurants on the upper east side in New York City (specifically the Mark hotel) and Paris. The landscaping and exterior are sharp. It is the perfect restaurant, upscale but not too expensive. Again, we loved it. You've done an incredible job with all the tasteful details!

Went in early on a Thursday evening and sat at the bar. Great service from Tyler and Wolfgang. I was all set to order the Octopus Tostada, but Tyler told me about an off-menu item that sounded great. And it was. It was an Heirloom, basil, and the inside of a burrata, stracciatella, with a wonderful balsamic glaze. Every bite was literally heaven. It think this would have been good with just average tomatoes. I had the Shrimp Arribiatta and it was excellent as well. Perfectly cooked shrimp on a nuanced arribiatta sauce with fresh pasta. Outstanding all around, will be back

Wonderful evening at Buckley's. Our waitress, Jess, was amazing and had great recommendations for wine and food. We started by splitting the tomato & burrata salad which was excellent. I had the salmon w/ tai coconut rice which was delicious. We finished the meal with the flourless chocolate cake - baked by the matriarch - which was wonderful. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our lovely dinner at Buckley's. The Arugula salad and the short rib pasta dishes were stand outs - but everything was delicious and obviously prepared with great attention and top notch ingredients. Our server, Hunter was great - friendly and professional and had good recommendations and a really nice energy :) The wine list is a banger, too! Great place for an upscale yet not fussy dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Very enjoyable dinner as always. We liked the additions and/or new menu options! Just wish the acoustics were better as we had to work to hear ourselves at our table of three as other tables' voices carry throughout the dining room.

Service was very rushed even though there were numerous tables open. Food was average. Server was not particularly helpful responding to our questions. Maybe we caught them on a bad night because I had heard nothing but positive things before.

Nice restaurant and bar. Good food and great drinks in a quiet atmosphere. Food service and bartenders were excellent. If we are in the area, we would go here again.

Our sever was fantastic-visible, available and ready at all the right times. Food and wine selection for most. Delicious!

Buckley’s is a neighborhood gem and one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. I have been here at least 20 times over the last 7 years, and I’ve never been disappointed. The cocktails, the approachable and affordably-priced wine list, the friendly service, and of course, the amazing food. Be sure to get the focaccia, the octopus toasta, the truffled artichokes, and a cocktail (or 4). I am not a dessert person, but I never leave here without having the carrot cake or flourless chocolate cake.

On our last trip, Jess was our server and we had a fabulous time. Cheering for them to reopen for brunch!
