My favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. Excellent food. Highly recommend. Also, the service is top notch. 5 stars!

Food was lackluster and not worth the price. I purchased the “steak” and they lathered it in gravy akin to something you’d purchase at Perkins. If the drinks and customer service were not as good as they were I would give this place a 1 star. Don’t waste your money.

Visited on a Friday evening - reservations at 6:30.

We had a lovely young lady who provided excellent service and a cozy corner table for two. Unfortunately there was a six top adjacent to the fireplace that were exceedingly loud. My husband and I found ourselves needing to shout at each other in order to hear oneanother. Several of the tables around us also stopped to the glare at the loud table. While not the restaurant's fault, this issue could be resolved with some noise dampening (Buckley's has ZERO).

This restaurant is so close to being a perfect spot for a romantic dinner - gorgeous decor, great service, lovely menu - but for the Sunday morning diner level of noise.

Food: we started with the truffled artichoke appetizer which was fabulous. My husband and I both had a pasta dish.

We finished off dinner and wine with a very tasty carrot cake and a fabulous cup of coffee!

We waited over 30 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation made months in advance. The food was okay, but the drinks took a long time and the cocktails were underwhelming. Our server was friendly and energetic, which we appreciated, but overall the experience fell short of expectations.

Service was fantastic, we chose a window seating in the bar that was less noisy than the main room. The Manhattan, Carpaccio, Caesar Salad, Pork Chop (exceptionally Delicious) all met with our top tier approval. Follow that with a complimentary Anniversary Cheesecake, add a spirited 12-year-old Red Breast Irish Whiskey and this made for a perfect meal.

Incredible dining experience! Every dish feels like a new discovery with unique flavor twists. The truffle artichokes are a standout appetizer, and the short rib white bolognese is the ultimate cozy, perfectly executed pasta. The pork chop was juicy and seasoned to perfection. We finished with the carrot cake and Key lime pie, both of which were excellent. A very satisfying experience!

The service was fantastic! The food was amazing! Loved the carpaccio appetizer. The Chicken Marsala was a winner, too!

We had a wonderful dinner at Buckley's before heading to a PAC performance. Our server, Hunter, was engaging and attentive. He did an excellent job pacing our meal comfortably and yet timely to make our show. The courses themselves were delicious and everyone in our group was pleased with their entrees. The cocktails and desserts were equally delicious. Street parking was easy on a week night too.

You can never go wrong at Buckley's! The truffle fries are a must as any side! I can never leave without the dessert! We deviated from the carrot cake and got the key lime pie and baileys salted carmel cheesecake! Cant wrong on their menu!

Bad Taste in Our Mouth

We came here to celebrate a birthday and started with appetizers that were mostly enjoyable. The Caesar salad and empanadas were good, though the carpaccio was lacking in meat. The drinks were a bit off as well.
For our main courses, the burger was great, but the orincherti pasta was very disappointing. It had a grayish color, was sticky and hard, and not close to al dente. At $38 per bowl, it was unfortunately inedible and did not meet expectations for the price.
The cakes were tasty but served overly cold. After we raised concerns about the pasta, the atmosphere felt awkward, and the waitress could have been more attentive. Additionally, nothing was done to acknowledge the birthday, which was disappointing given the occasion.
Overall, the experience fell short, especially considering the price point.

Excellent on every account. We ordered sourdough and lamb for appetizers. A couple cocktails and a bottle of red wine. For entree my friend had the mushroom pasta and I had the halbot risotto. Delicious. We had chocolate cake and carrot cake for dessert.

I’m honestly blown away that I’ve never been to Buckley’s before… because this place is phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent.

We started with cocktails at the bar, and Tyler crafted some truly beautiful drinks. Thoughtful, balanced, and made with care… such a great way to kick off the evening.

Once seated in the dining room, our server was attentive, warm, and lovely. We began with the carpaccio and a fall-harvest style salad (can’t remember the exact name)… both were absolutely delicious.

For mains, we shared three dishes, and I genuinely can’t pick a favorite… they were all outstanding. The prosciutto-wrapped halibut with mushroom risotto was rich and perfectly executed. The roasted squash and broccoli over peanut mole was unique, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And the housemade pappardelle with shrimp, fennel, and nduja was perfection… fresh pasta with incredible depth of flavor.

Everything we ate was balanced, thoughtful, and just plain delicious. Buckley’s is officially going on my heavy rotation… absolutely worth a visit if you haven’t been!

We sat at the wine bar for dinner! Our server was bright and cheery! We had a glass of wine and the braised carrot appetizer. It was delicious! We shared the delicious pepardelle pasta w mushrooms! I got a cute little piece of carrot cake as a birthday surprise and ordered a slice to go! We took a cab to the restaurant but we were unable to get a cab back. The manager drove us back! What a generous and much appreciated end to our evening! All available stars from me!
