I’ve been going to one of the owners other restaurants for years, hoping this would live up to that expectation, and IT ABSOLUTELY DID! This is some of the tastiest, freshest, cleanest Mexican food you can find! It genuinely feels like it’s family recipes. Elizabeth, my server, who hasn’t even been here 1 year, is an expert when it comes to the menu and her recommendations were perfect! I’ve officially become a toastada guy! Rebecca, was excellent as well, in both customer service and general hospitality! The place is clean, and clearly well kept! I honestly cannot recommend this place enough, I will be back!!

Buenavista Restaurant is one of the best eateries in the Milwaukee area for Mexican food. I get their quesabirria tacos often and they are quite delicious. They also have a good buffet at a very decent price. The staff is friendly too, which is not always true for many establishments. Great job. 10/10

Elizabeth was an amazing waitress and gave me one of the best fajita steak dinners I’ve ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly with delicious I savory caramelized onions. My kids got the chicken tenders and fries, and everything was great — the fries were crispy, not soggy, and they even gave an extra chicken tender with each meal. The salsa was very spicy but really good, and you can tell it’s homemade. Great food, great service, and we’ll definitely be back!

I came in for the lunch buffet, and had a wonderful experience. I was greeted by the friendly staff, and guided to a seating area for the buffet/restaurant part of the establishment. It seemed separated from the banquet hall and bar. Seat yourself, and grab a plate. Staff has your choice of warm flour or corn tortillas, and refills on Coke. Birria was awesome! I also enjoyed the rice with the shrimp and sauce over the top. The slow cooked chicken and chilaquiles was also very good. A small side salad bar of sour cream, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and other condiments allow you to customize your plate how you want. I wrapped things up with very fresh cantaloupe, lime jello, and a red white and green cookie. Not a huge buffet, but the quality and preparation of the food that is there, is top notch! When you are done though, dont wait for a check, just walk up to the window, and pay on your way out.

Nice little place. They have a small but tasty buffet of Mexican food. Tamales, empenadas, rice, menudo.
All very fresh and hot. I saw the server walk out with a hot dish often.

This was my first time going here. We went for a family dinner. The waitress Bethy was amazing. she was so patient with our group of guests and overall just had the best customer service that I've experienced in a while! the restaurant was clean as well. Although, we had a big group the food came out in a timely manner. I will be coming back.

Stopped in to try their all you can eat lunch buffet. It was Friday and was available from 11:00am to 3:00pm for $15. This was my first time trying but I was very pleased with the flavor, quality, and freshness of the items available. Not a large offering but quality definitely moves the needle for me. The buffet offered tamales, rice, beans, chimichangas, elote bar, fajitas, shrimp, and a couple more items. I plan to go again and I would definitely recommend! Mexican buffet - YES

Love this place i come here for takeout/pickup and for dine in as much as I can!!!! Prices are great, service is great, food is awesome. If you want a great meal at a great price this is the place. Never super crowded, so if you dine in your not bothered with too much noise. They also have a $15 buffet from 11am-3pm i believe but ive not been to it yet. Also the owner is great and super nice. Same owner as Taqueria Buena Vista on 60th and Burnham!!!!!!!!!! I recommend the queso birra dinner, its super fire 🔥!!!!!!!!!! Their guacamole is also great!!!! Everything there as great. Im glad my buddy and I found this place.

I recently had a banquet at this hall with 150 people. It was such a wonderful venue. They made our event memorable and easy. The food is great and the owners are a pleasure to work with.

Big thanks to the bartender that kept up with the flow of people going to the bar. I will definitely be going here again.
