The Cafe at the Pfister is a hidden gem in Milwaukee. Many who dine at the Pfister are hotel guests but there are lots of locals on the know. While I have had other dishes, which are all done well, I typically go for the Belgian Waffle and request fruit (and of course whipped cream) on top or as a side. The waffle is cooked to perfection and is both light and airy. The wait staff is on their game and are attentive without being overbearing.
No dining experience would be complete without stopping to pick up bakery, located right as you walk in (and out). I strongly endorse the Peanut Butter Cookies as well as the Butterscotch Cookies. My dinning companion loves the mini banana bread loaves.
I recommend making reservations to avoid waiting and doing so offers you an opportunity to request sitting in the enclosed patio (portico) which is fun for people watching.
All and all a great way to begin the day.

Good atmosphere in an upscale hotel, definitely the vibes, however, slow service and food was underwhelming. Egg Benedict was overcooked no spill and extra salty. Omelette was dry. You can get better hashbrowns at an ihop. They forgot to include it in one of the dishes so there is your quality control. Food was on a cold side. Last time here, and a big big surprise given the current 4.5 rating.

Excellent in-hotel dining for guests and travelers alike. As an Airline pilot on PM schedule, I can get an excellent 9hrs sleep in after a late (early) arrival and still get breakfast 🍳 served after 1:30p. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Compliments this fabulous hotel perfectly. Highly recommend the Pfister Café !! ☕️

They have Starbucks coffee, all good

The food is fine... nothing out of the ordinary. The service is definitely below average. Disappointing. Never got water or coffee refills until we were about ready to leave. Our server was chatting with other customers she clearly knew for about 10 minutes while we were waiting to pay our bill.

We randomly stumbled upon the cafe while searching for breakfast. It was walkable from our hotel. We grabbed a reservation on open table and voila! Service and food both were outstanding!

I have been to the Cafe at the Pfister several times before and have never been in with the food or cost.

The value and taste of the food were exceptional.I had beef spring rolls that would not hold together and I had to pour the sauce onto the filling because it was not possible to dip the rolls. However, the flavor of the garlic zucchini soup, spring rolls, and pina colada cheese cake was excellent. My server and expeditor were very nice, but the speed of the service was disappointing. It took approximately 10 minutes to get water after being seated and 10 additional minutes before meeting the server. I never received or was offered a water refill. I had to wait 10-15 minutes after asking for the bill. It took over an hour for a late lunch even though the restaurant was only about 25% full. There is definitely room for improvement in regards to timeliness.

It was very busy because of downtown Dining. I had to get up and go looking for server to place order and to pay our bill. My entree was cold. The soup was very good.

Marisha was Excellant. Fun and attentive. And I thought I put the 20 dollar bill into folder to pay and I totally dropped it back in my purse. How embarrassing. Couldn't believe it but she was sooooo nice and understanding
