This is one of those gems you stumble upon. Super friendly service and the margharita pizza was fabulous. This is a joint that has character.

Classic, thin crust pizza. Stopped in on a Sunday night, and it was very busy. We weren't informed until we ordered that it would be ~45 minute wait for pizza. We decided it was worth it since that's what we came in for, but would have appreciated knowing before we were sat.

First time here and not from the area. I found it on Google Maps and so glad we gave it a try. It was busy on a Thursday night but we got a table after a very short wait. The chicken parm and chicken Marsala both were excellent. We plan to go back for pizza and more good stuff.

Great food! Terrible service.
Family of four with two kids on a Friday night. We we seated right away and ordered drinks, pizza and a salad. Didn't see our waitress for another 45 minutes, not even for drinks. I had to take my daughter home before food arrived and wife and son brought food home. Food is good but I cannot recommend dining in at the restaurant.

The food is not worth the high price. They ‘accidentally’ charged me an extra $10 on my bill so check your bank statements.

Service has been taking forever lately despite the small amount of tables to serve. To be specific it took about 20 minutes to place drink orders. Waitress was apologetic but still. To make matters worse the wine i ordered never came to the table. I want to add that the food is usually 5/5 stars but this time the calzone was almost cold in the middle despite the outside looking to be adequately cooked. Had to correct the check because of coarse it was on the bill and I ever got it. The Waitress said sorry and blamed the mistakes on getting too busy with all the tables. Not really a valid excuse in my opinion. I think its my last time there..

Service dining in on a Friday evening is consistently abysmal. We have celebrated many birthdays dinners here over the years; however, after our third attempt on a Friday evening, we've determined it is best to avoid this day, though service was exceptionally poor on our latest experience ( Fri 11/7/25). We had a reservation for seven, noting the special occasions. Food was excellent (as usual), service was polite but very slow (as expected on a Friday night, i.e. took over an hour for food). What was unexcusable? Shortly after finishing our meals, an owner comes up to our table rudely insinuating that it was our time to leave, assuming we were just lingering there at the table. Instead, we were still waiting for drink refills, hadn't yet been offered a dessert menu for the birthdays we were celebrating, nor had we even been brought the bill. Instead of speaking with our lovely, over-worked server first before approaching our table, he just assumed we were rudely taking up space. (Of note, the surrounding patrons had been there before we even sat down so, aside from our group size, it's unclear why we were singled out.) It was an extremely disappointing end to what would have been a great celebratory meal. Our server appeared rightfully mortified and was very apologetic for his behavior. He, however, offered no apology for his rudeness and offered nothing for essentially kicking us out before we had finished. While the food is consistently great and the waitstaff lovely, I would strongly recommend celebrating weekend special occasions elsewhere.

We showed up 5pm and asked for a table for 4 people. The restaurant had 3 tables sat but they told us there was no availability until at least 7pm. I understand they may have reservations coming in but having a completely empty restaurant with a 2 hour wait is just bad business.

Calderone pizza is the best! I first had their pizza back in the 1960’s and it’s still the best pizza! . So glad it’s in Fox Point,
