Amazing food, great atmosphere !
Atmosphere was great. Service was just ok. We don’t see our server much and our appetizers came out at the same time as our meal. I ordered the Angus Filet cooked medium and it came out rare and chewy. The mashed potatoes that came with it was good. The broccolini was undercooked as well. My wife had the Chicken Penne and she didn’t eat much either because of the amount of black pepper they had in the noodles and chicken. The pretzel as the appetizer was about the only good thing.
Great drinks and value for the money. Defintley have the soft pretzel!
Central Standard has the most amazing staff.
The waiting staff was amazing, they were very kind and helpful. The food was perfect for me and my fiancé who are vegan and gluten free. Overall this was a top tier experience, I would highly suggest!
Just got my first bottle of ref cabin amazing flavor i loved it well worth the price
Really good. Get the trout dip, datillies and old fashioned for sure.
Stopped in on a whim. Pleasantly surprised.
Hosts and bar staff were fantastic (evening of 11/2)
I could say the best bar in Downtown for unique craft cocktails all with in-house made spirits! Not to mention the food is very good too! I had the lamb chops which were wonderful! We bought a bottle of their house vodka as well!
Very stylish locale straddling Downtown and the 3rd Ward. Late in the afternoon, not busy and friendly service. Lotsa folks working on laptops. The seasonal pumpkin spice latte cocktail is excellent loaded with flavor. The fries with sandwich very crispy. Good bun on the Milwaukee cheese steak. Because the shaved ribeye is so rich, it could've used something with a bit of a bite to balance it, eg more horseradish. The veggies that were supposed to be on it were a bit paltry. So, tasty but not first rate.
Our server wasn't the most attentive or easy to talk to but since we were here as a duo we didn't need that. The drinks are fantastic, highly recommend the seasonal apple pie velvet shot. We enjoyed the cheese curds, brat board, and shrimp & scallops dish.

Great whisky good atmosphere
I’ve been here before and the food was great, however, when I went in yesterday to get a drink with my mom who is visiting, we stood in shock while the bartender was preparing our drinks. No gloves on, grabbing and ripping up the basil leaves to put in our drinks, then proceeds to pick up the sliced cucumbers also to put in our drinks. We saw her taking credit cards from people for them to pay and giving them back their cards, and wiping her hands on her jeans. I’m sorry but this is unacceptable. My mom and I were so grossed out we just dumped the drinks out and left. The first thing we look at in any establishment is basic hygiene. Never again.
Madee is one of the best bartenders at central standard! Always has the best recommendations and is great to talk to
Food is very good, everything is scratch made and the cocktails, using their own liquor, are creative and well made. Lauren (our Server) was very attentive and informative about their food and drinks.
The hostess set up a coloring page and crayons for my son when we got to our table which was so sweet. We ended up having to get our dinner to-go since our 3-year-old's meltdown was taking a turn for the worse. The hostess was so cooperative and nice when we told her we needed to leave and even took my order, not waiting for a server. When we got back to our hotel the food was SO GOOD. OMG. Seriously so good. Only downside to this place is it's SOOO LOUD. Like could barely have a conversation loud. Other than that, the food is super great and service was exceptional.
