We had a blast here today during brunch.
Corbin our server was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Kathy the host was amazing, she made sure we had our liquor to go sampler.

The main reason we chose Central standard was due to our gluten free dietary restrictions, and holy hell they did not disappoint. The cheese curds were amazing ! Not to mention the hash brown bombs and devil eggs.

Had a bourbon tasting and dinner. I was amazed at the variety of bourbon offer as the distillery is only 10 years old. Staff was great and the food was perfectly prepared.

Great restaurant in historic building with an incredible bunch menu. The burrito was outstanding and I'm a burrito junkie. This one set the bar. Family friendly, my kids loved the fries and waffles. Highly recommend.

Was just there for drinks for a packer game. BEST cheese curds I’ve ever had. Light breading seasoning seasoned ranch!!! Will be going back.

Wonderful meal and excellent service. The one thing that is keeping me from giving 5 stars is parking situation. Scanned the QR code at the reception desk to pay for parking. Came out after dinner to find a $90 ticket on my car. Apparently the QR code I scanned was not for the parking lot to the West of the restaurant. Was given the card for the restaurant manager to call to see if she can help. Called and left a message for the manager to call back. It's been almost a week and no call back. Love this restaurant and will be back, but be aware of the parking situation, it's complicated and costly if you don't know where to park.

Nice place. Crap service. Waited at the bar 15 minutes and the bartender kept taking people who walked up after us. I think we're the wrong age for the place. If you have gray hair, spend your cash elsewhere.

The food was excellent- the Walkeye was so good. Great drinks- I had the Miljito and it was so creative and delicious. The atmosphere was a lot of fun. All tables were filled and everyone was having a good time. Very friendly staff that was attentive and quick. We are from the Chicago area and will be back for sure! Central Standard is worth the drive.

I had an exceptional experience at Central Standard that deserves recognition. Last Saturday, I called to make a reservation, and the gentleman who answered asked if we were celebrating anything special. Trying to keep things light, I said, “I guess we can say I’m celebrating my car dying...when it rains, it pours haha.” I meant it jokingly and didn’t expect anything to come of it.

When I arrived for my reservation, I was genuinely shocked and impressed. A few minutes after I was seated, the same gentleman who had taken my call came over and handed me a handwritten card. Inside was a thoughtful note acknowledging my situation, a small illustration, and a message letting me know the first round was on them. I’ve never experienced a restaurant take that kind of initiative over something mentioned so casually.

Although I didn’t catch his name, his kindness, and the kindness of the entire staff, truly stood out. The food was excellent, the drinks were great, the atmosphere was welcoming, and every interaction with staff was top-tier.

Central Standard went above and beyond in every way. I’ll be recommending them to everyone.

Perfect date night choice- killer drinks, yummy food (with gluten free options !!), and top notch service! Would definitely return and plan on buying their spirits for my own home bar. Instant classic in MKE!

Cheese curds and drinks were great. Gluten free options were a plus. Only downside was my chicken was a bit dry.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the service was even better. We shared a flight and tried a few drinks recommended by Chloe and could not be happier.

This is our second visit. Corbin our server was efficient did not rush us. He was attentive in a nice way. Did I nice job explaining the menus and giving us information about the place. We did sharables and had so much fun!
