It's a rip-off!Don't eat here. I paid $8 for a sandwich called The Rome. The sandwich was tiny and barely had any meat on it. I should've only paid $3 for it! And I was VERY hungry. I'm super DISAPPOINTED In this place.

Standard issue campus sandwich shop atmosphere; stand in line, pick ingredients, pick up sandwich and pay. Sadly, the sandwich I had was less than even campus acceptable. I ordered a tuna salad on ciabatta bread. The roll was shaped like ciabatta bread, beyond that any resemblance ended. It was the texture of a hamburger bun past its prime. When I sat down my first thought was "did they somehow forget the tuna?!". But, no. After a quick search I found the thinnest of schmears on the bun. The visual confirmation was important because there was so little it literally could not be tasted. Upside, the veggies seemed to be, if not fresh, not browning and decomposing. Fortunately, I purchased the "meal" that gave me chips so I had some sustenance. All in all, disappointing and seriously overpriced for what they serve.Staff were pleasant, so there's that.

Ask for Erin!! Best panini maker, doesn't fall apart when she makes it! Some of the others burn the bread.

Their new paninis are actually really good! And they are pretty speedy at making them.

City Subs is a suitable option for on-the-go sustenance, but it is nothing more than one would expect from a Student Union based restaurant. I believe all the subs are $5.25, so if given the choice, you would be better off going to Subway, or any similar sub sandwich restaurant. The workers are very pleasant and helpful, and the options are broad, so you can pretty much create any kind of sandwich you would like. The bread tends to consume a large portion of the sandwich, but the components of the sandwich are a decent size. If you find yourself in the Union and in need of a bite, give City Subs a go.

Really cheap but good lunch on campus. Soup and a piece of bread (I suggest the croissant) is like $4.00.
