I love the genuine Mexican food. We were a party of 3, and they wouldn't let us sit at tables that were more comfortable in case larger parties would come in, which never happened. We had to either sit with other people at a long table or a tiny one that 3 plates wouldn't fit on. They have a strange entrance. You walk through a much nicer room to go to a room that's smaller with torn stools. I would go back because the food is so good.

We checked the website for business hours on Sunday 8/4, and drove 35 Minutes to discover a sign on the door that they will be closed 8/3 to 8/9 for Vacation. A post on website or Facebook would have been nice.
Along the arrogance of automatic 18% Tips, I wonder why we keep going back ? like a battered house wife.
Must be the good food !

We have been coming to Conejitos for 45+ years. Dating back to when Jose’ (the original owner) was alive and always at the bar, Mexican spaghetti was served on Sundays, and a chicken mole’ was $2.95.

Love the food and the unchanged decor. Even with the price increases it is still moderately priced Mexican food menu that fills you up. And the margaritas are also the same delicious blend.
