We were excited to try this place out for the first time after hearing so many good things. Let me tell you, it far exceeded our expectations! If you're looking for your typical wood-fired pizza, you won't find it here. We ordered a classic cheese and also the Fernwood. The pizzas were both on the thinner side, and were perfectly cooked in the wood-fired oven. The crust wasn't like any other pizza crust we have ever had before! It was buttery and had a great crispness...
Ordered the dealer’s choice and loved that they offer it. We got two spicy surprises one with chicken and kale, the other a spicy Italian with mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Both were full of flavor and made with care. The decor in the lobby made waiting a pleasure, and the dog-friendly outdoor seating was a sweet bonus. Already looking forward to coming back.
Next time you want to eat a pizza in MKE definitely recommend considering those joint! This is a small business where all of the staff are passionate about what they do and excited to help their guests. The atmosphere is cozy, with tons of outdoor space. The vibes are great, the decor is great, and attention to detail is off the charts. From the menu to the decor to the staff, everything was carefully crafted and considered.
