I love Chess Club on Tuesday evenings because of the social diversity and hands-on coaching! Johnathan is an insightful teacher and Bob an attentive bartender. I look forward to going each week. Highly recommend!
Great cocktails and beer, cozy vibes, and a cute outdoor patio. Dog-friendly inside and out! They also do a deal on Mondays where you get a dollar off your drinks if you bring a book. Lots of non-alcoholic, THC, and gluten-free options. They have a couple snacks, but allow you to bring in food from neighboring restaurants.
The good: The two bartenders last night were friendly and welcoming. The music from House Circuit. They have a water station at the end of the bar 🫶🫶🫶
The bad: The Tito’s and soda draft cocktail tasted horrible. They didn’t have any staff watching over the crowd for a busy Saturday night. There was a drunk man who took off his shirt and used his sweaty shirt to lasso females. He made a lot of females uncomfortable during the 2 hours I was there....
