I'm only in town for two nights for work and the hotel recommended El Beso Milwaukee. The food was delicious, I got the chicken enchilada with mole poblano. Definitely in the top three Mole I've ever had! I sat at the bar and the server (Sergio I believe) very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to go see the courtyard. Definitely would visit this restaurant again!!!

Celebrated my father’s birthday and it was very fun! He got his picture taken & a tres leches slice of cake! Margs, chips & salsa are great to munch on and drink before the main courses! Our server was amazing, she remembered all of our orders without writing anything down.

Chicken Nachos. Plate consisted of tortilla chips, black beans, Mexican street corn, lettuce, Mexican cheese, fresh Pico de gallo, cilantro, and sour cream.Portion size is enough for 1 adult but could easily be shared between 2 adults. The topping to chip ratio was very close. The price was very reasonable.Overall, this plate was delicious, and I would order it again.

We went in on the taco Tuesday for $9.99 taco dinner. I got the ground beef & the meat tasted sooooo off and my friend tried a bite and agreed with me. We did get the dinner on total refund and lesson learned I'll stay eating at the Authentic Mexican restaurants even if in a not so great area. As I know my food will be oh so yummy!!!

Portions are HUGE. Prices are okay considering you will be getting a meal and leftovers. If you don't want leftovers, consider getting the small dishes.Food is greasy, but flavorful. Our server forgot to give us our check lol, but if you ask anyone will be able to give you one.Restaurant is extremely pretty, and atmosphere is fantastic.

We tried El Beso today. We were seated right way at a booth in the bar. The server brought us a bowl of chips and 2 bowls of salsa. We appreciated the 2 bowls of salsa. The salsa is very mild, maybe too mild for some, but not for us. The chips were not warm, but they were fresh. My wife ordered toastadas, one bean, one beef. I ordered chicken enchiladas with red sauce, no rice. The enchiladas were just warm, and I believe had mole sauce not red sauce as I ordered. I really didn't like the dish. I ate 1 and left most of the other 2. The beans were warmer but not warm enough to melt the cheese. My wife's toastadas were good. I ended up eating her beef toastad. The server never asked how our meal was and didn't even comment when I left most of my dish.

Very nicely decorated restaurant and beautiful patio. Good food and service. I would have preferred a larger flour tortilla for my tacos. They give you plenty of chips and salsa. Prices seemed a little higher than most Mexican restaurants.

Food was great! Drinks were cheap! Service was good. if it’s nice outside make sure you sit out back, it’s beautiful and even on a hot day there’s a lot of natural water and shade back there which keeps it cool.

I visited El Beso after seeing the pictures online of the waterfall and outdoor dining area since it seemed like a great place to have a drink on a nice day. Upon arriving I liked how large the restaurant is since many Mexican restaurants in the Milwaukee area are small with not much seating room. Are server was nice and greeted us right away but did seem hesitant when we asked to sit on the patio since it was a little chilly but we had the entire patio area to ourselves which was a great bonus and very different from anything I've seen with a very large waterfall with LARGE fish inside that swim right up to you so that alone made the trip worthwhile and the only reason for 4 stars is because while we only stopped there for drinks I did decide to get a cup of there pozole Verde soup which was good but very greasy and my girlfriend got the elote which she enjoyed but it was a little dry and her Pina colada was very weak and tasted like it had zero alcohol in it but aside from that we enjoyed our visit but with the food not being what we hoped and the drinks being weak this might be a place to visit just for the experience.

I love Mexican food and this spot definitely did it for me, the food was flavorful and portions were huge. The drinks were nice and strong. My server Valerie was warm and inviting, stop by this spot whenever you’re in Milwaukee, it about 5-10 minutes drive from the airport. It’s worth it.

Great tasting food. Outside seating is very nice. Drinks priced a little high.

Prices went up but quality went down. Used to have great salsas but they changed their recipes for the worse. Burritos have gotten smaller, fajitas are mostly vegetables and barely any meat. Portions are decent, servers are nice, and atmosphere is fun. Hopefully food gets changed back to how it used to be to make it worth the increase in price. Used to come here a couple times a month but have decided to stop coming.

Let me first say that we are frequent patrons of this restaurant and have until our last 2 visits had excellent service. I’m not sure what is happening but if this continues we may find ourselves looking for a new regular spot. The second to last time we went (approximately 3 weeks ago) we were told for the first time that we are not able to split checks with the other family we dined with. This was a waitress we never had until this visit. When we asked to split checks (only 2 checks) she very curtly and abruptly said “nope”. That was the extent of her answer. No explanation to it. We have not had any issues doing this until this visit. She never refilled the chips or salsa or waters. She never came back to check on us. She then proceeded to add 20% to the bill when it arrived. This is very different service than we normally have here. When both families only had credit cards on us and very little cash it made it very difficult to split the check. Last night we decided to go again with the kids from the other family to celebrate a birthday. We were told that they could not sing because there were only 2 servers on duty. But when we were walking out the bar staff was shaking the maracas and hat ready and yelling the happy birthday song to the table a few away from us. The waitress came running out of the bar to tell us “I’m sorry I was told we couldn’t sing” as she saw us noticing this. We will continue to try for a better experience here because they’ve always been good to us in the past. But if the bad starts to outweigh the good times we may start looking for a new spot.

The food and service were good. Sadly, we were seated next to a family with a small child, and they had given him a tub of sour cream. He was covered in it. Table covered, wall covered. The parents ignored it. On the other side was the window to the patio and small girl, around 7 or 8 spent the whole time running around or pounding on the window and licking it. Parents were completely unconcerned.

Been coming here for years. Amazing patio with a relaxing atmosphere. They have a beautiful waterfall with koi pond. Prices are much higher than they used to be. Expect most meals to be$20-25. Salsa is authentic and mild. The guacamole is very good.
