I’ve been eating here for 9 years, and they never disappoint. I strongly recommend the cabeza, tripa, pastor, and lengua tacos but honestly, everything is good here. All plates come with grilled sliced onions and a jalapeño. They are cash only, so be prepared. There’s a gas station across the street with an ATM should you need it. Very nice people there as well :) I don’t live local to the area, and have tried many many tacos on many many trucks here as well as the surrounding...
A nice convenient taco truck PAY WITH CASH ONLYReally excellent service and excellent portions as well, the food was delicious and exactly the taste of Mexico when you’re missing home. Authentic and run efficiently. But be sure to bring cash beforehand, the ATM near the gas station had a single 20$ and charged a 2.75$ service fee.
I noticed this food truck across the street from my favored gas station. El Tapatio was chosen as my favorite taco after a blind taco tasting at a party I held. It was a delicious steak taco. There’s always a line, but it goes quickly. A bit shocked when I ordered 25 tacos to be ready at 5:45 PM on a Friday evening, the proprietor had them ready and appreciated the order. El Tapatio is five minutes from my home, and I imagine using it many times during the upcoming winter.
