El Tenampa Mexican grill & cantina

I had lunch here, and the whole thing was ruined because the rude guy delivering my food wanted to be mouthy and say it was because I complained (SEE PIC).
Guess what?
Restaurants should have standards, and if you don't like your job, get another one, don't take it out on your customers. I've worked as a waiter.
I know how to deliver good service.
The owner came out and said he'd take care of it, but I paid full price on the happy hour margaritas and on the food AND left a proper tip.
The only good thing was Rebecca, but my advice is to introduce yourself and not wait for your customers to ask for your name.
And to the rude food runner, if you don't care about customer service, why would you work a customer service job, you werent even my waiter but felt a need to mouth off.
I won't ever be back.
The whole experience was ruined by his tacky behavior, who should have kept his mouth shut. But he felt it was wise and appropriate to interrupt me and the actual owner while we talked. And to the owner, you should control your employees and that that if they feel free to interrupt you they don't respect you.

We get there and get seated the waitress was talking to another table for 10-15 mins and then came over told her I wanted a small Hennessy mango margarita which I never got and a sprite and half and half drink husband asked to speak with someone else and she said no I’m the only one that speaks English ordered two taco lunch specials and in 2mins food was brought out and it was cold worst experience ever will not be going back

The waiter was very unattentive. The food I ordered was very greasy. The only satisfying thing was the water. I don't think I will return to have a meal here especially for the price, it's not worth it. ?

This food has no flavor, ordered two entrees three sodas two appetizers and a side of rice on Uber eats and the total was $108!!! I was expecting a tasty Mexican chimi but I got tortillas and dry old meat, not even any cheese inside, and my baby girl got birria tacos that she wouldn't even finish and was just picking at. The beans were runny, the rice was under seasoned. The guac barely has avocado it's like 80% tomatoes and onions, just bad underseasoned food all around. I'm a cook. If I wanted a good chimi I guess I should have just gotten groceries and cooked for myself. I'm white and I make better Mexican food than these guys, which is pretty sad. Yall should let me take this kitchen over if your chefs don't know how to cook. This place was trash, if they offer some kind of freebie to try it again id reject it. Don't waste your money like I did. Yuck.

Just ordered dinner for 3 people. Taco salad was absolutely horrible. 1 scoop of meat NO lettuce at all cple tomatoes and a dusting of cheese??? WTH? $80 and no chips with my guacamole, had to go back to get those. Just ridiculous. Waaaay over priced and the food has gone down hill something terrible. Use to go here twice a month and now I won't be coming back at all. So so sad was such a nice place close to home. Just a shame....say goodbye to another customer.

I would never recommend this place to start off I ordered a taco dinner which includes three tacos steak. Didn't want the beans so I added extra rice for a total of $22.. there's no way you should ever pay more than 15 bucks for three tacos and rice from any Mexican restaurant in the city of Milwaukee. 325 a taco $4 at most where did $22 come from.. tacos were not good steak was dry rice dry.. don't waste your time go to legit taco truck save money and enjoy some real quality Mexican food
