My husband and I stopped here craving Chinese food and it did not disappoint! We ordered calamari as an appetizer, which was so fresh and tasty. For drinks we had the famous Mai Tai- delicious, and a fresh beer. For our main course, I was craving something similar to a seafood delight, our waitress told me to try the seafood and beef dish, which was better than what I was craving. We also ordered the shrimp Lo mein, which was also very good and the hot and sour soup which was a thicker base and very delicious. To be honest, at first we thought the prices may be a little high, but with the amount of food you get the prices are more than generous and fair. When they give you the check they also give you a small ice cream to taste which was so good! We were very impressed with how clean the restaurant was, you can tell the owners take great pride in their establishment. The decor was fitting for the restaurant and we enjoyed the dimmed lighting. We really enjoyed Emperor Of China and can't wait to stop in next time we're in Milwaukee.

We had a great experience at Emperor of China, the staff was delightful, the food was delicious, and they even gave us extra rice to take home with leftovers. They also had free ice cream treats for us after our meal; this was the best dining experience I have ever had! The servers were so warm and welcoming, it felt like we were dining with family. We will definitely be back here with family and friends, 10/10 recommend! :)

I ordered pepper sterak and chicken fried rice to go my total was $43 ??!?!?!!! I am upset i was on my way to work and didnt have time to check while i was driving but when i did i realized they didnt give me a reciept either!!!! what is going on...then i get to work and find out one of my coworkers had the same problem and she went back and realized they just randomly overcharged her...are they scamming people by over charging on carry outs? and not giving reciepts? Will never return or recomend...BTW the food was no better than any other place in the city

This is a great place to dine on Brady Street. Fairly spacious restaurant in oriental decor. Waitress was on her A game. Fast, courteous and proficient. Knew the menu. Food was great. Had Gen Tso chicken. Chicken melted in my mouth. And just spicy enough without having to choose mild or hot. Could not eat all of the generous portion provided but definitely looking forward to lunch tomorrow. Excellent meal. Go there. Great Chinese food.

i am really happy that emperor of china is open for in house dining. the prices of our favorite dishes was a shock much higher than pre pandemic. the dumplings were too large and doughy everything told me that the rest. has a new chef. the portions were large and tasty. the owner did nothing to update or change the decor except for the giant paper dragon which i like. i will have to remember to pay in cash as a 4% charge is tacked on when a card is used. the food star is low because i was really looking forward to having the dumplings, which were the best for years, and i was so disappointed with them and the price.

We came in to have dinner about 7:50 last night and we didn’t know that they closed at 8. The owner said don’t worry we will serve you.The food was awesome as always and the service was great as well.We have been coming here for almost 10 years and we are never disappointed.I’m happy that we can sit down and dine in again now.Thanks much for a great dinner last night!!!
