From beginning to end we had a delightful dinner. The service was excellent. Our water was filled often. I had the ribs which were done perfectly and meaty!\nThey came with corn bread(I usually don't like but this was delicious and warm.) Cole slaw and Mac and cheese, which were very good also. I was in town for a concert with friends who are from the area and they suggested lunch at Fork in the Road. The house salad was so good. I could have eaten a mixing bowl of that salad. I’m typically not a salad kind of gal but I’m dreaming of making the 4 1/2 drive back to Wisconsin for another salad.
We found out about The Fork in the Road by searching for the famous apple pie baked in a bag at the Elegant Farm. We drove an hour and a half and were not disappointed! We had several fun bartenders who we nicknamed Kallie and the Elves.🎄 They served us several Spotted Cows as well as a few awesome Cranberry Spritzers. Deliciousness in a glass! The grilled Reuben was fantastic and the Sirloin bite’s appetizer with warmed blue cheese was out of this world! We highly recommend...
