After an hour of claw machines and cheap beers at Clementine’s Tavern-got the tip from some drunk regular-I wandered over to The Gyro Stand on Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee. And wow, their burrito sandwich is basically everything a burrito sandwich should be. Seasoned beef like, perfect burrito sandwich beef. Crisp lettuce, burrito sandwich lettuce. Been looking forward to trying this place after moving in the area. Got the family in the truck and headed over. It is presently 85° and they didn’t have A/C.
We ordered and opted to take it home.
$40 for a Greek salad, side of pita and tzatziki, 3 hot dogs and a fry. That’s a bit steep in my opinion. But I grew up in Chicago, so hot dogs at a fair price are a dime a dozen.

Not sure if it was because it was close to closing but got the large gyro it was the equivilent of like 3 worth of meat was absolutley awesome
