It's never a surprise when we have an amazing meal at Harbor House, so this was no exception. My husband and I usually order different things so we can share but last night we both ordered the Seafood Fettucine on the specials menu because it sounded so good. We were glad we did, because neither of us would have wanted to share. It was truly the most amazing bowl of pasta and fresh seafood that either of us had ever eaten. Wonderful meals of lobster bisque, strawberry salad, scallops and halibut. Food and views were outstanding. We ordered a bottle of wine and were shocked when the waitress brought a bottle that was open and missing about one pour. She then brought an unopened and full bottle (but no apologies.) Our bill was incorrect and included two charges that weren't ours. We will return because the food and ambience are outstanding, but watch your bill and make sure any ordered bottles...
Our experience was nice overall. The quality of the food was good. Some things were more exceptional than others. I would pass on the crabcake. Pretty basic. Pork belly was well executed and very rich, just the way you want it. Oysters were fresh and plump. Connecticut lobster roll was solid. Overall, we had a pleasant lunch with one of Milwaukee's best reviews. Our server was very attentive. We look forward to coming back for lunch soon.
