I purchase an oxtail dinner that cost me $26 . The oxtails had less meat on them., some of the rice was not done and other spots was over cooked.. I wasn’t happy with the dinner so I called left a message for the manager to call me. He did he apologized and told me he would give me a refund. I told him we would come tomorrow. When my guy went back they gave him a hard time. Saying we should have brought food back yesterday. What an unprofessional restaurant and customer service. I will never eat there again. #notahappycistomer ☹️

Before posting a review for a different jerk chicken restaurant proclaiming it to be the best in Milwaukee, I had one left to try: Irie Palace. I called in an order for a side of jerk chicken to go. Unlike the other jerk chicken restaurant that I consider to be the best, Irie Palace's jerk chicken has a wet rub instead of a dry rub and is white meat instead of dark meat. The wet rub makes the chicken a little messy to eat and the meat itself is a little dry (even with the wet rub) compared to dark meat that tends to be more moist. Irie's side of chicken is a tiny bit cheaper than the other place and the box did feel slightly heavier, but I'd rather pay the extra $1 and have a little less chicken for dark meat with a dry jerk rub. I'd be interested in trying the jerk chicken egg roll from Irie Palace at some point, but I'll stick with my favorite place for jerk chicken.

This evening I picked up an order of Jerk Chicken. It included cabbage and rice. The lady that answered the phone was very helpful and patient. The order was ready as promised and it was just excellent. The food was extremely flavorful and the order was very generous. There was more than enough food for one person. I will most certainly return.

I ordered oxtail and I was told it would come with plantains but it didn’t. I ordered another side portion of plantains and it was burnt! I placed a pick up order almost 35minutes ahead and I still had to wait another half hour when I got there because the server took his time talking to some lady while I waited in line—no acknowledgement!!I would not have been mad at the small portion size if it was tasty but no, it was just salt and vibes. I would not recommend this place.

Horrible experience , I would have put no star but google is generous hence my one star. Everything was not good, the oxtail was salt tail, the salt content was too much and I couldn’t eat it, the plantain was fried dry like plantain chips and defeated the purpose for ordering plantain. I would rather starve than come back to irie
