Went to Jake's today for a pastrami sandwich. Very tasty: toasted rye bread, brown mustard, and a goodly pile of seasoned meat with tiny, flavorful fat pockets. Also ordered the potato salad, but they were out and subbed an order of less expensive fries. I would've preferred more meat on the sandwich. There weren't many customers inside--kind of odd, I thought, for Friday at noon.

I ordered the corned beef Philly through Grubhub and listen! It’s pretty tasty. They fill your sandwich with sooooo much meat I have two servings! My only changes would be to ask for lean meat and maybe extra spicy mustard. I would rate my experience 8/10. I added hot peppers when I got home which was necessary in my opinion and gave an extra kick. Worth trying again for sure!

Not as good as they use to be. No flavor. And they don’t follow instructions well at all. What happened? Why did the taste change? I asked for lean and it was all fat. I hate the fat texture. It’s so bland. I will stick to McBobs from now on

What I had delivered was inedible. Sandwich was not cut, all I received was a lot of fat, hardly any meat. The bread was soggy. I will never order from there again.

Wonderful bright smile greets you at the door. Great attitude and demeanor. Prices a little high but when you ask for "the works" that's what you get! My sandwich was gigantic! With fries & 12 oz soda it was $20. After eating, I want to go to sleep, lol.. Definitely worth trying again. I'd like to try thier wings, I hear they come with fries..

We got multiple items. corned beef sandwich, corned beef filled egg rolls, chicken wings and turkey pastrami sandwich, anything with corned beef is delicious. And the staff are really friendly. Definitely worth a try!

It was very fatty. I guess i didn’t know to say make it lean.The sandwich was decent. I spent about $20. I would pick McBobs over Jakes. I wasnt really a fan of this. Not too much flavor.
Jakes has been around for as long as I can remember. The staff has changed, and it has also but it is still the only place in the neighborhood where you can get a good corn beef sandwich.
