If you want a taste of Puerto Rico then just come here. Johannas Cafe is by far the best Puerto Rican restaurant here in Milwaukee, facts. I’m convinced a perfectionist works here because everything that comes out of that kitchen is made to perfection. With just one bite, it is going to remind you of all your puerto rican ancestors. My favorite is both their sandwich de pernil & hibarito de pernil con arroz blanco y habichuelas guisadas. & their piña colada 😋

This place is never open when it says there open online. The food is great but I pulled up 3 times in the past week and it said they was open and when I pulled up closed! Waste of our time

This was a great little place! The staff was awesome, very friendly and hospitable! The food was all very good! Also the place was super clean including the restroom!

First time ordering food here and I was very disappointed after feeling great about this place. I ordered empanadas”fried meat pies” and either they must of forgot to fill them or the quantity is little to nothing. I received two large fried empty empanadas!

Nice little place to visit, with great service & very homely feeling, felt like a family environment. Pork dinner portion was nice, but kinda fatty. No complaints about my Bistec dinner. Love the Puffed pastry, best time for pastry is in the A.M.
