Best Puerto Rican food EVER. I had their Pork Chops with Rice the first time I went with a Side of Alcapurria and it was amazing. Second time I went I had their Tripleta on recommendation of a friend and that was a whole new experience. Prices were fair for the quality of food and even though the wait time was more than I expected the food and service definitely made up for it. I will definitely be back. Huge variety of foods, snacks, and they have ample selection of desert, bread and beverages as well. Absolute gem located in the heart of the Southside.

I'm going to write this post in English because I'm talking it and my phone doesn't translate to Spanish I'm 100% Puerto Rican from Puerto Rico but moved here from Chicago and this place is absolutely the best Puerto Rican spot you can find they're always fresh food is hot they treat you A1 and it's amazing they are absolutely the best Puerto Rican spot in Milwaukee hands down every other place I've been to and I ate at all the other Puerto Rican places in Milwaukee by far this place is the best food is amazing fresh and always hot you might have to wait a little bit for your food but I'd rather wait and know I'm getting hot fresh food then garbage so if you want real Puerto Rican food hot and fresh with authentic taste go to this place. So yesterday was my first time there best experience ever I ordered the triple meat sandwich was to die for then I ordered the pastries. Oh my God I was in heaven.
So I go again today and order the egg bacon sandwich phenomenal I just moved into town from Chicago Johanna and her husband Juan God bless you guys. The world needs more people like you guys. Thank you for welcoming me to your home at Johanna.

Family owned. There is Alot of different things to try. I had the cheesecake, with a strawberry glaze on top, was delicious. They forgot to bring it to me, I went to counter and she gave to me. I had coffee, with 2 shots of rumchata. Was perfect. I was trying to relax. Perfect setting to sit and relax. A lot of things are written in Spanish/ some in English. I loved that they had 2 different menus, one in each language. I recommend this so much!!!! Met the owner, his wife, and their son. Was so nice to meet them. This place is filled with love.
