Decided to check out this sushi place and I was quite surprised. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, the rolls were absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding. The place is small but cozy. Definitely recommend this place.

First time yesterday, returning today because we were that enthusiastic and pleased with our experience and the rolls! Just wish this location served their ramen. Honestly, having lived in MKE nearly all my adult life, I had yet to find my spot for fresh sushi. This is it!

The Teryaki and the Sushi were very good. The salad was amazing. The service was professional and very attentive. Excellent quality Japanese cuisine and elegant, but also comfortable like a diner. A nice find for us.

Here's how good Kawa is - I don't really care for Japanese Cuisine, but I go here all the time. First of all, the service is always exceptional There is always plenty of staff, they are happy to greet you and everyone thanks you when you leave. The atmosphere is casual but fun. My wife loves the sushi, I usually go for the chicken tempura, gyoza, fried rice and salads. I truly enjoy coming here because I feel valued as a customer and the quality of the food is excellent! There's a few sub par reviews from people here that give yelp a bad name.

Here was a quick decision for sushi and Kawa is a good place for sushi. There was some inconsistency with the sushi and sashimi. The shrimp tempura was good, but there were more tempura vegetables on the plate than the shrimp (2 pieces). Service was fine. Nothing bad. Nothing over the top. And the ambiance was very busy, bright, and noisy. There was good energy in the place. If you're by the mall, here is a good solid Japanese restaurant.

Excellent spot in the upscale food court. Ramen was chicken broth , very balanced and flavorful. Hellfire very spicy had great depth not just spice overload. Miso egg was the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. Also had the poke bowl w/ tuna , good quality and excellent marinade and presentation. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Good food and service. I would love to see a more diverse selection of proteins across the sushi menu. More salmon, tuna, yellowtail, etc. My partner is allergic to shrimp and neither of us particularly like spicy food, so there was a short selection of rolls to choose from once we went through the menu.
