Server was not at all helpful with menu items. Basic response was “everything is good”. Acted like it was a bother to answer our questions. A couple of our selections were outstanding, a couple others were really very average. Not what I remember from La Merenda in the past. Would not rush back
La Merenda offers a nice variety of locally sourced ethnic foods. Dishes are served tapas style and we tried several - all of which were excellent. The service was also spot-on, and the free valet service was a nice touch. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to the area. On a side note: La Merenda is a good option prior to attending an event at the BMO Pavilion.
I've been coming to La Merenda for years & the food & service always remain fantastic. There's a beautiful outdoor eating area in the back of the restaurant that's full of flowers & plants. This place is in my top 5 most loved eateries.
