If you are Puerto Rican and you are looking for good Creole food, El Lareño, and for the whole world, 100% Puerto Rican food, I highly recommend it and the owners are very friendly.
We came to visit from Chicago for the Don Omar Concert and wanted to try Puerto Rican food. I have to say that the food was really good. We had the papa's lokas, and jibarito de pernil with rice. And the sopa de quajito(mondongo) it was amazingly good. I recommend!!!
I had a party this past Saturday out in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was in need of: "Una bandeja dé arroz con gandules." Let me tell you, that was one of the best arroz con gandules I've ever had and everyone in the party loved it! The owner is super nice, excellent with communication, and responds quickly to my calls or messages. When I come down from Chicago and have another event, I'll definitely be calling Lareños for more delicious platters.
