The food wasn’t too bad but Carlos the bartender didn’t check on me at all, in fact I had to flag down a different bartender to pay my bill since Carlos left the bar area and appeared to be checking on other guests. I did however enjoy the Miller High Life on tap served in a boot shaped glass

Host was a very nice, server not so friendly.Margarita was one of the worst ive ever had, for as much as it was 10/10 not worth it. Idk what they put in it but it was horrible. That was enough to not stay. Didn’t get to try the food.

We checked into a hotel upstairs, and we are looking for some food and a drink. We discovered the pub right underneath us, and we enjoyed ourselves. We wanted to test out the beer and the cheese here in Milwaukee, so we’re better way to do it then in a soup. We enjoy the pretzels and some local beers and the atmosphere was good.later at night it became a little bit more louder and if you’re looking for a good time at this pub on weekends, this is the place to go.

Wife and I had stayed at the hotel. Price reflected that what would be expected for a hotel housed restaurant. The $5 monthly boot beer was great. The wife loved the cheese curds, I found them overly greasy. I had the double double burger. I thought it was a perfect burger with a great caramelized crust. We had a hot dog, save your money. The chili was absolutely great. Shots were overly expensive. I'd go for a short lunch.
I want to love this place. The location, vintage atmosphere, food and drink specials. Everytime we come to MKE (6x a year at least) we come. The hostess is always kind, but there is always aggressive, short, sassy bartenders. 2 of the 3 times it has been a production to bring a miller lite and a pretzel. It’s 5pm we know what we want. Dont point and go say read the front board, and huff. The manager when i wrote said let them know when we come, but we shouldnt have to do that. So we need to love this place, but cant.

Waited 30 minutes for a table with no service. Several waiters and waitresses walked past us. Host didn't even acknowledge us as we left or wondered what happened. Can't rate the food as we never go to eat.
Had a group here after work and everything went smoothly and everyone was super happy with the food, drink, and service. Shoutout to Nick our server who was a rockstar keeping us well taken care of.

Unfortunately the food has definitely gone down hill and much smaller portions in terms of quality since last year. Bar-wise it's great but I came here for the food every time. Guess I'll find somewhere
