Unfortunately, our reservation was booked for 9-29-2025. But, I thought I booked it for 10-05-2025. I do not know if it was my mistake or Open Tables mistake. After trying to figure out why our reservation wasn't showing up on computer of the restaurant. We dug deeper and found that our reservation was for September 29th not October 5th. I am 99% sure, I made the reservation after 9/29. Anyways. They were very busy. As they should be, because the food and service is awesome....
I was very pleased with how things went with our time at Oak Barrel. Our server Owen treated us phenomenally despite him being quite busy. Food was surprisingly tasty and came out at a great tine. I'd recommend stopping in for a quick bite in the area.
We had my birthday brunch at Oak Barrel and it couldn't have gone any smoother! They saved the day after another well-known MKE restaurant completely ghosted us just 2-weeks before the date.
Communication with Mackenzie and booking could not have gone any better. We had the entire upstairs area to ourselves plus we were able to order off the actual brunch menu (which I LOVE). Our bartender, Danny, was amazing, attentive and provided excellent service to our guests. There...
