Bread its good. But go early morning otherwise you wont have much options. Prices are high but no where near other bakeries. Mini conchas are 50 cents but 2yrs ago they were 3 for 1 dollar. Floors look dirty but bread is always fresh. They sell bolillos 3 for 1 dollar. They have milk gallons, single slices of cake, can sodas, hot coffee. You can order cakes. They take cash and card. But for card it has to be atleat $5. No restrooms. Parking for around 10cars. They dont accept EBT anymore . Prices are ok and u get ur own little platic bag and plastic glove and choose ur own piece of bread.

The bread is very good, I recommend it. The people who serve are always in a bad mood, they have no tact in customer service. You greet them and they kind of do you the favor of returning your greeting, besides it seems like they are always angry. If you don't like serving people, hire staff who do like it.

Nice little secrete in the Southside! If you like Mexican pan dulce! Parking is on the side, enter on Mitchel street. The bakery is so good that it sells out. So don't show up before closing expecting to find any. Panaderia el Sol has a nice blend of goodness to their bakery while at the same time you can tell they don't over do it on the sugars and fats. It has an air of eating a better made pan dulce! Enjoy.
