Magnifique! Our dinners were delicious, the service was very responsive - even accommodating food allergies, and we enjoyed a relaxing evening with friends. Highly recommend!

Since Pastiche took over the dining space of Hotel Metro, the restaurant has continually slid downward, only a shadow of what it was when it first opened in Bayview on KK. Now, food is spotty, service is awful (staff chatting around bar rather than tending to actually "serving" guests properly. The decor is awful and unpleasant at best. When Hotel Metro opened the dining space was truly uniquely beautiful. Now it's a clash of unappealing colors and no style! The place is filthy, just look at the s&p shakers on our table. Disgusting! Truly hoping when the Hotel Metro is reimagined under the Marriott Autograph banner, that they make a radical improvement to the restaurant!

Just left this hotel and was very disappointed. The location is great but that's about it. The whole hotel just feels worn, old and musty. Our room was sooooo musty smelling and moist feeling. There was condensation all over the room, the A/C barely worked, the shower door leaked water ALL over the floor, the mini refrigerator seemed to be dead and smelled putrid, tons of banging throughout the night that kept waking us up and worst of all the quality of air was awful! We had to keep opening the window because it felt like we were breathing stale air. Would not recommend this hotel and won't stay here again. The whole hotel needs a remodel and needs something done with their air quality.

Good ambience, attentive staff, very long wait between food order and delivery.

this is my all-time favorite hotel in Milwaukee. I've stayed here 3 times and each time have had a pleasant experience. the suites are huge, with a cool curved half-wall separating the bedroom from the living room. they have a keurig, along with a wide selection of mini bar items, should you want a $3 snickers. the bathroom has all Aveda products, a HUGE plus. all the rooms have giant tubs, some with jets. this was our first time ordering room service from the French restaurant downstairs, and it was wonderful! they are currently working on updating the rooms, so there is some construction noise between 9am-4pm. but they're working on bettering the hotel, so it's worth the noise

Run away, don't even consider going here for anything! We had a reservation for 8 people for a birthday celebration dinner. Arrived and the place was empty, except for us. We sat down, the waitress poured water on one of us and said she didn't know what was going on. We ordered a round of drinks, and she brought the wrong one and then went to fix it, only to bring back the same wrong drink. Upon going to the bar to fix the drink directly, the bartender acknowledged it was goi

Upon going to the bar to fix the drink directly, the bartender acknowledged it was going to be rough, and that we needed to just get through the night. Two guests ordered a bottle of wine. She brought a bottle that didn't have the same name on it and said this is it, but was not confident. She could barely pour the wine and spilled all over one glass and after pouring the second glass of wine tossed the cork on the table awkwardly. Around this time she called our table "queens". One guest needs dairy and gluten free and when asked about the menu she didn't know any answers and went back to the kitchen but returned more confused. She took our order, but skipped one person. Then after awhile came back to say she couldn't read her writing and needed to take our order again! At that point we said no thank you, we'll pay for our drinks and go elsewhere. She said that was a good idea. She generously adjusted our bill for the trouble and our wasted time, but that was the only positive. At one point we thought we were on a Punk'd type T.V. show and that someone was going to come tell us it was all a joke. Overall, I think the staff was either drunk or on drugs. The bartender and other staff people never attempted to help our waitress or step in and take over. There is no way this place will stay open for much longer. Don't waste your time or money.
