We were visiting from St. Louis and were told that Brady Street featured a lot of ethnic shops/food and we came upon this bakery. SO many choices; everything looked delicious and was presented so nicely. My friend got a rainbow cookie and I got a lemon cookie dusted with powdered sugar. SO good! We came back a little bit later and got two more rainbow cookies. It reminded me of the cookies my great aunt from Palermo made when we were kids.

The moment you walk in, the display cases are absolutely stunning — rows of pastries and cookies that make you want to try every single one. They even had unique cookies I’d never seen before but instantly wanted to taste. It’s definitely the kind of bakery you’ll want to come back to again and again just to sample something new each time. We tried a mini cannoli with cream and cherries, and I’ve honestly never had a cannoli like that before — it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. A true gem!

Love this neighborhood bakery, but I wish it felt more welcoming. I shopped there today and didn’t receive a hello, thank you, or even a smile. The food is great, but a little warmth would make the experience so much better

Kind of an odd experience. I ordered ham and rolls on Sunday and asked for the ham shaved, but was eventually told they don’t do shaved hot ham “because otherwise it would be like soup.” WHAT!? There’s a ton of other area bakeries that do and I’ve ordered it this way for years. I don’t know…they thought I was crazy I think. No onion rolls either. The staff was friendly and working hard. The ricotta cookies were delicious but crumbled very quickly unfortunately. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

Best bakery and the owners are very friendly
Lots of delicious Italian bakery, cookies and breads. A Milwaukee legend for sure. I saw a newsman feature them at Festa Italiana and it inspired us to visit.

Wonderful experience every Saturday hot ham rolls and Italian loaf of sesame bread fresh. Reminds me of when we were little and my mother used to bring it home.
