My wife and I stopped in for the Haddock Fish & Chip. We had heard it was good, but it was the best fish fry we've found in Milwaukee. Flavorful, crisp, flaky and tender. And you must try the smashed pea side, excellent! The entire staff was friendly and attentive. The owner is a charming Brit , named Pete of course. Great example of the American dream coming true. If you like a good fish fry you have to give Pete's Pub a try. Did I mention the $3 Miller High Life????
Typical WI bar experience on Brady St. They have a decent draft selection with all the local staples.The food was solid with lots of burger options. I had the Patty Melt that definitely brought the heat!Overall, a solid choice if you are nearby.

Pete’s is a great little pub, especially in contrast to most of the other options on Brady St. It’s definitely a sports bar (and a great place to catch early morning football matches or F1 races!), but without all the neon and cheesiness, and with unexpectedly great drink options. The food menu is full of great versions of popular pup foods, and the staff is always really friendly and good at what they do.
