An absolute experience! Amazing cocktails and amazing environment!

I was brought here by a friend and the experience was overwhelming. The place was PACKED with people - I'm sure they were over capacity. There was no room to get to the bar to order drinks, I was shoulder to shoulder with strangers, it was too dimly lit to see the menu, and way too loud for conversation. I probably will not be back.

This place is one of the best bars in all of Milwaukee! Highly recommended for anyone who visited Japan and wants a little piece of that in Milwaukee. The bartenders are kind, sincere, and knowledgeable of their product.

This place is fantastic! We went in on a Friday night, very cool vibe inside, and the bartenders and drinks were all really fantastic. It's very small, so I imagine it gets very busy.

Small space but niche focus

Honestly. Where has this place been my whole life. The drink selection here is a dream if you’re a connoisseur of Japanese liquor, this place is bar none. The atmosphere has the Milwaukee feel with a cozy cultural embrace. Not to mention the bartenders are super personable. Eric and Jim set the bar high for being personable, knowing their craft, and serving up great drinks. Easily noticeable from the amount of regulars that came and went tonight! Count us in for being new found regulars here! Dogs are welcome, but please ask bartender before bringing them in, as this is a very intimate space.

A friend and I just happened upon this place while heading home. I thought it had taken over another bar, walked in and was pleasantly surprised! Happy we stopped in, the bartender was wonderful, and even had to grab a couple tshirts.

We have been meaning to stop here for a while and are super pleased that we finally did. The vibes are great and the bar tender Jim was awesome!! He is extremely knowledgeable about Sake, and was very passionate and eager to share his knowledge with us! My girlfriend and I knew nothing about Sake before our time here and now we know a little more. We joined their Sake club which was 100% free and we will be back as soon as we are able to knock a couple more Sakes off our list. They also had a great cocktail and Japanese beer selection. Highly recommend the Red Maple!!

I hardly write reviews but this bartender was super nice. I was not expecting much from this bar. To be honest, its not really my scene. He asked if we had been here before and when we said no, he went over the whole menu and recommendations (and not in an annoying, invasive way). We both were super satisfied with our drinks. Yummy! There was a band playing that was pretty good too! Good vibes for sure. We will definitely be coming back.

Cute and cozy bar! Great japanese cocktails, imported liquors, and sake! Enjoy anime, japanese films, and video games with your friends!

I enjoyed a Japanese Cherry Blossum Old Fashioned and the Tozai Sake Flight. I would highly suggest both!

Apparently they will be introducing food in the summer! Much to look forward to and come back for!
