Great cakes! Really sad to see a for sale sign. My parents wedding cake was from here and many family birthday cakes as well... I remember one in particular, it was a tweety bird cake for my 7th birthday... 23 years ago. I was ecstatic. ? Thanks for providing many memories to our family! I can still smell the sweet aroma of your shop! Good luck to you in the future!

Drove past today and saw a for sale sign out front. This place deserves to be closed! Horrible customer service and even worse is the attitude of the owner! Grow up, take responsibility for your mistakes! Find another business to be in! Clearly this is not for you! Such sloppy work and nothing but excuses! Prices outrageous!

The cakes are horrible, the frosting job is wack and it's way to expensive for a plain cake. We asked for pearls and they said it would be around $200 when the cake was completely plain, I could have gotten a way better cake from Walmart Or even a gas station. I can't believe this place is still open when many people have had multiple bad experiences here; I'd recommend this place to no one. I'd rather go to another bakery then go here, further more the employee That was working there was very rude and they didn't have many people working there. There was also nothing to cover the cakes so there was flies everywhere which causes a health violation and the cakes look like they haven't been changed out for new ones which is also another health violation. There was also no organization and is was just a mess I wouldn't be surprised if someone got sick from their cakes.

This place is hands down the best. I'm actually shocked to see the poor reviews. I've ordered my daughter's birthday cake from here every year. I travel from Pewaukee, just to get this cake. First time we ordered a Elmo cake and it was perfect. Next, was a Paw Patrol cake and that was even better. This year, we are thinking Peppa Pig in September. They clearly state their cakes are frozen and you need to thaw them. They have always been great with allowing me to pick up early on a Sunday to ensure the cake was ready for eating at like 4pm. My parents got married in 1980 and Rich's did their wedding cake. We are proud to say that my family has been a happy customer since 1980. See you in September.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years to buy last-minute frozen cakes for different occasions, they were always really good. This time looks like the prices went up, $38 just for a frozen 10 inch cake! She told me the cake had a layer of chocolate cake and a layer of yellow cake but it was all yellow! Also the dye they use in the blue frosting is way too strong, it dyes anything that touches it blue, and it doesn’t even wash off. Also the frosting was not very good, too sugary and I feel I could do better at Walmart.
Purchased a cake for my 24th birthday. Had to pick it up a day early since they’re closed Sunday’s. One of the owners told me to keep it frozen until 7 hours before I want to eat it, then thaw it at room temperature. That is exactly what I did, it was even at room temperature an extra 30-45 minutes before it was cut and eaten. The filling was still completely frozen. I ordered a strawberry banana filling but only received strawberry and an overwhelming amount of whipped cream. On top of that, the cake itself was dry. I’ve ordered from here before, so I know the cakes are good. But I was very disappointed this time, as it was the only cake I had to eat on my birthday. I contacted David via email to inform him. And in order to get a a refund, I need to return the cake. I informed him the cake was eaten as it was the only one I wanted and the only one purchased for my birthday. The conversation and lack of good customer service from the owner, is making this whole experience even worse. I will not be returning nor will I recommend Rich’s for future cake needs.
