Mike is a pioneer of craft beer. Whenever I crave something special, Roman's is my go-to. Friendly, local and in pristine condition, Roman's is a staple for any well-versed beer advocate as well as any beer freshman. Cheers!
A smaller but better beer bar in bay view. Dedicated to top shelf American brews. Many barrel aged brews available if you like that sort of thing (I do) . You won't find Miller lite, or even spotted cow there- he even has a board that says"no spotted cow, not now, not ever". Your dreams of finding any swill beer there would be crushed.
Not what it once was. The owner does not seem to care as much as before. If you want to be a beer snob, back it. Mike brought too much attitude, with too little beer to back it this time. When asked "do you have anything special, anything you recommend?" and the answer was "they are ALL special" should have been my first clue. Most beers I had were local beer store quality at best.
