This is the kind of spot you want to see stay around for a long time. The tuna melt and Thai red lentil soup were both so flavorful. The prices were incredible and the service from the owner was even better. This is a perfect lunch/midday pick-me-up spot.

I have been getting takeout from here for awhile. There are daily classic soups like chicken noodle or dumpling, Mom's pot roast and Creamy potato. They offer two daily special soups with one of them vegetarian or vegan. All are high quality and tasty. The soups come with a choice of French, wheat or sour dough bread. My absolute favorite soup is the roasted carrot with toasted pecans. Its thick and delicately seasoned with just a little bite. I order my pecans on the side...

Love, love, love the Soup Otzie restaurant! Staff is amazing. Love how they offer samples of their daily soups. Great homey atmosphere. The new family that bought this establishment a year ago brings the same enthusiasm and great taste of former owners. The sour dough bread is to kill for! Offer local sodas like Dang and Sprecher. My favorite is mom’s pot roast soup, but others are equally delicious. Counter, booth, and carry out service available! Happy with new extended evening...
