The bar’s location is on my way to other places like Fluid and Walker’s pint. Back in 2021, I was being re-introduced to the Milwaukee LGBTQ+ community after living in Denver for the past 8 years. Walked in with two of my friends (we’ve been coming here a couple of times a week for months), and a bartender we had previously been very cordial with suddenly asked all of us for our IDs. I’m 33, clearly above 21 (as are my friends). We happily complied (I even made a joke about feeling young), and ordered our drinks. He asked us if we wanted to open or close the card.
