Outrageous customer service!
I order an aperol spritz which I read as $5. I thought it was a deal because the only other drink below in this section of the drink menu was a sea breeze for $7. I was shocked when I got my bill for $30 for two of these drinks. When I asked and showed the bartender the menu I was given that clearly was $5, he became very defensive. Apparently this menu was damaged and he even looked surprised that it read $5. He retorted , “Well, you should know that an aperol would be $15 because that what they cost all around town.’” You don’t know what drinks I ordered and I never ordered one before. I then stated I would have not bought that drink at $15 and he hastily swiped my second full drink right from me and then charged me $15 for the one. I then asked to see a manager about my honest mistake and his rude attitude as he grabbed the mistaken menu from me. He brought some guy from the kitchen who just continued to argue with me and then it was apparent the real manager approached the bar. He continued to claim I should have known better and when i asked to see that menu again, he ripped it up right in front of me. Very sarcastically, he told the bartender to just charge me the $5. Never did they try to remedy the situation. It truly ruined my afternoon because I was so upset how I was treated by three of their employees when I did nothing wrong but try to make them honor a price that was evident on their menu.

A straight 5 shooter place with no questions about it.
Lobster roll was great, lobster bisque was amaizing, calamar steak was wonderful.
Place is packed, you don't need booking ahead, prices are reasonable, service is fast and efficient, there is nothing wrong about this place except the bathrooms: restaurant is located in the Market so going to restroom will be a small trip and one floor to climb.

I had the White Fish Sole Piccata and it was absolutely incredible! The flavors were so fresh, light, yet filling—truly a must-have if you’re looking for something that tastes both comforting and refined. Everything was perfectly prepared, and you can really tell the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend this dish if you want something fresh and satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back!

First time trying visiting the St. Paul Fish Company in the historic Third Ward. During our visit, we had the lobster roll meal and a cup of lobster bisque. The bisque had pieces of the shell in the soup, so we ate with caution. There are bits of meat in the soup, so it wasn’t the traditional bisque you’d expect, and would have benefitted from being smoother. Overall, I would say it was decent but forgettable.
The lobster roll was good; the bread, fries, and coleslaw were all fantastic. I will say the lobster filling was very dry, and it made it hard to eat the roll. It would have been great to top the roll with some liquid butter or just add more dressing to the roll. The staff was attentive but seemed overwhelmed during our visit, which could have been improved.

Came here for my birthday! We had a reservation, but since it was so busy we still had to wait 20-30 minutes. I got a mule to start, which was very good. Started off with the calamari which I have to say is some of the best calamari I’ve had because of the breading. You can’t find the types of oysters on the regular menu, there are slips of paper with the oyster types, their descriptions and prices at the table. You write the quantity of each oyster you want and any sides. The others that I was with aren’t a fan of oysters, so I had five to myself. I had two of the classic Blue Point oysters, one of the Irish Point, and two of the Salty Mainer oysters. All the oysters were great! The Irish Point were crisp tasting and the Salty Mainer’s were indeed a little salty. For an entree I got the Maine Lobster Roll. The bun was nicely toasted and buttered, the lobster was fresh and had a great taste to it. I always love a good coleslaw & fry too. Great experience, great food, I will be back!

Had the fried perch one night and well.. flavorless.. and a few bones. Next night I had the blackened grouper and bingo! Great flavor and was very enjoyable. Get the fruit salsa with it. Service was good. Worth the visit.
