Lake perch was AMAZING and fresh. Quantity was very big, food was great quality, and came quick. Our server, Edith, was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend!!

Visiting The Historic Third Ward at Milwaukee Public Market. Found the seafood place Sr Paul Fish Co. Ordered East Coast Crab Roll sandwich and it was delicious. Fresh food and generous sizing.

The outdoor patio is a wonderful option for food and drinks with your friends or coworkers. Service is great and the food is priced appropriately. I've gotten probably 10 lobster rolls there in the past 4 years and it's 10/10 every time. I've never been to Maine, but I've had friends who have say it's better or 1:1 comparable.

The owner walks around IDing people and fails to identify himself. We asked him if he worked at the bar and he said “you could say that” and scanned our IDs with his phone…… Less than five minutes later we were IDed again with someone with a cellphone…. It would be nice if they would identify themselves and let us know what they were doing.

We were in Milwaukee visiting, and with no plans for lunch, we searched the GPS for places open at 4pm and found this Mercadito!
Our option was to eat fish, lobster and shrimp
And the truth was it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time!
Yes, we had to wait because we needed a table for 5.
But no more than 5 minutes, we took the opportunity to walk around the place.
The waitress attended us in Spanish, English.
We ate in a small area of tables that the place has.
The food didn't take long to arrive.
We ordered a starter of box shrimp. Somewhat spicy but tasty.
And as dishes, a lobster had enough food..
Some fried shrimp, very crispy.
And two more fried fish "Perch and grouper"
Its very balanced flavor, well seasoned...
Additional Caesar salad
All dishes with good portions
We were very satisfied with everything

Had a strange experience here last night. My boyfriend, sister, and I (ages 27 and 22) were meeting our dad and some family friends here. They asked for our IDs, then two of the bartenders came back and told us while the IDs were valid, they didn’t believe my boyfriend’s (age 27) photo was actually him (it was lol). They just threw our IDs back to us and told us to leave. We were so shocked. Their attitude towards us it seemed like they wanted us to leave the entire time. Overall very unprofessional and bartenders obviously need glasses and some additional training, since the photo was quite literally my boyfriend. Never coming back
We stopped into the Public Market for the first time, and wanted to grab some food. We stopped here to check out the menu. The Food seemed reasonably priced, and our wait time wasn't that long. Our server was very nice, and attentive. The food was good for portion size and flavor. We sat in the dinning table area, and not the bar after seeing the bartender reviews.
Parking: There is a Parking lot available for the Market on the North Side of the building. Only one entrance, and you have to take a ticket, and pay when you leave.

This place was supposedly slow, when I took the last seat at the bar. It is definitely in the mix and a destination spot. The bartenders were all wonderful. I ordered the lobster roll and then the recommended calamari steak. Everything was delicious. The pina colada with rum float was also perfect in every way. Dogs are welcome.

Tanner, Liz, and Rob are great - the tiki bar is the place to be all the time, but especially when it’s 0 degrees out. The Lobster Bloody Mary is sooo good.
