The Stone might be the friendliest bar in Milwaukee. Before I settled my butt into a seat at the bar, someone welcomed me with a hello and a welcome. Soon, more of the customers ambled up to me to talk about a myriad of subjects. This was an eclectic crowd, and obviously, all were welcome. These days, I'm invariably the oldest cat in the joint, but no one at the Stone seemed to notice. Neither did my dark glasses or fedora cause people at The Stone to keep their distance....
Really enjoyed watching a Packer game here. I've been out of Wisconsin for two years and this place was everything I missed out east. Great beer selection friendly staff and overall classic Milwaukee vibe.
