This was my first time back to this restaurant since retiring in 2020 and the first for my wife. I had previously had great meals with business clients so we decided to make the drive up from Kenosha for our "date night" Wow, what a great dinner! Everything from appetizer to dessert was fantastic. The service by Janet was simply outstanding...making excellent menu suggestions and anticipating anything we might want. The restaurant offers a nice ambiance with good lighting...
Our server, Janet, was fantastic! She gave helpful suggestions for various menu options and was extremely polished and professional. Our food was delicious! Save room for dessert! The sticky toffee pudding was amazing. My only complaint was that it was noisy and the dining room was not full. Perhaps it was the group of people near us who were all talking loudly at the same time.
We sat outside around 1pm during the art festival. Great ambiance! Our server was fantastic, but stretched too thin(3 servers in total for Sunday brunch during the art walk probably wasn't the best decision- one of the table got up and left). Service was slow, but our cocktails and cheese board were great. We'll be back!!
