Great atmosphere and the customer service was decent. When it came down to the food, I ordered fried green tomatoes and the famous chicken and a side of Mac n cheese. The tomatoes weren’t ripe and very thick and hard the seasoning was spot on. The chicken was overcooked and very dry and not so fresh as if it were refried. The Mac n cheese was alright not as creamy as I would like and to much breading. If I did choose to go back it would be to try the fish. Thanks for the experience!

This place is amazing! I loved the FOOD, atmosphere and service. The pecan pie is the BEST I've ever had in life. I will definitely be back here when I come back to Milwaukee.

Came here for a bachelorette party brunch and Tupelo Honey did not disappoint! Joshua was our server and he was excellent! Super professional/great at his job, but also super fun and friendly. We’d come back any time, and we hope Joshua is our server again! Thank you for the sweet cookbook for our bride!

Food was great and it came out super quick despite being very busy. Great system and service. Highly recommend as a unique breakfast spot in downtown Milwaukee.

Such a disappointment. Sad we wasted a meal here. All the food looks great. Somehow, none of it had any flavor. The burger was dry and flavorless. The Sriracha honey chicken was also dry, overcooked and flavorless. Even the deep fried brussels sprouts were as plain as they come. The breading on the fried green tomatos didn’t have any seasoning. I wish I could say the gumbo was better, but it was just sad!

Celebrated my birthday here the other night and we had a great time! We had signature sodas (try the cucumber lime, it’s fantastic!) and biscuits to start. The biscuits were great along with the butter/berry mixture it comes with.My wife and kid had chicken tenders which I honestly have to say, were quite dry. As well as the potatoes wedges being a little overly salty. We had to make do with getting some things chicken on the menu because their grill wasn’t working. Things happen.I did get the sweet and sour chicken sandwhich which was amazing, along with wonderful fries. We finished our meal with banana pudding which was so good we had to take the rest home to finish later and have more!Overall our first experience was very good. We’ll be back to try the items that weren’t available due to the grill being down, and maybe try the tenders again.
