Been coming to Vientiane for many years. As much as Id love to continue coming here, the food just isn't what it use to be. Portions are smaller. Flavors are different. Ingredients are different. My favorite dishes that once used fresh herbs and spices are now replaced with mostly powder forms. Things don't seem have the same TLC it use to. Very sad because they had the best Lao food in Milwaukee.
Did pickup for lunch and the Pad Khee Mao was really yummy. I got hot and it was just on the edge of my spice comfort which was good for me but if you don’t like spicy err down on spice level. Would definitely go back and get exactly the same thing.
They look like short on staff so service was a bit slow. We had spring rolls and fried quail, both were good. Didn’t like their pad see ew, too sweet, very different from what I had at other Thai restaurants.
