Volovanes Delicias is a small restaurant, perfect for take-out. The ladies working there are kind and the corn tamales are a popular choice. However, they come without meat and each one is $4. The cochinita tacos and Veracruz-style banana leaf tamales are highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and there is a variety of food to choose from. There is no parking lot or sitting area, but you can find free street parking. The restaurant opens early, around 7 or 7:30 am, and is a great place to find delicious and authentic Mexican dishes.
