A great place to relax, take a walk and enjoy a refreshing beer👏

If you're searching for the ultimate pretzel experience, look no further! This place serves the best pretzel I've ever tasted—soft, warm, and perfectly salted. The vibrant beer garden adds to the charm, creating a lively atmosphere where good times abound. With an eclectic selection of food trucks offering delicious bites, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And let's not forget the picturesque lakeside setting, complete with ample seating options that make it ideal for gatherings with friends or family. Whether you're there for the pretzels, the beer, or simply to soak in the scenic views, this spot is an absolute must-visit!

Great beer garden serviced by Kegels German Restaurant. On the lake behind the War Memorial Center. Veterans get discount on 1st beer. Brats, Polish Sausage and appetizers, plus craft and imported beers on tap.

Outdoors, little space to eat in the shade, very friendly people who serve, a little expensive

This is a must visit location in Milwaukee. The War Memorial Beer Garden has food from Kegels Inn and beer from Hofbrau Haus. When I visited they were also selling 4 packs of 200 yards brewed by Explorium Brewery. The 200 yards references the distance soldiers had to cross while under heavy fire on the beaches of Normandy. Don't forget to walk through the actual memorial which is impressive.

Good beer, perfect setting by the lake, only downside, all served in plastic glasses..
Cool stop on the lake. We went early on a Friday afternoon and the music was great and the view was awesome. Beers were tasty. The landscaping in the area is well done. Only thing making it a 4 instead of a 5 is that you're sitting in a parking lot.

Don't be shocked if you get there during the listed business hours and it's closed for *insert random reason*.
An absolute damn shame! $15 for a hot dog you would expect to get something of substantial value or quality. You receive none of that here. You get a thin Oscar Meyer Weiner on a cheap bun. The hot dogs look nothing like the photos in the reviews. That's how you know the owner is leaving his own reviews. What a scam. I want my money back!

My daughters and I stopped here after a few hours in the Art Museum. Bartender let me taste a few of the beers before I decided on one and my kids shared a pretzel. We got a table with an umbrella (much needed because it was about 90!). Service was great and we had a beautiful view while we cooled off.

Great stop, don’t go in the lake right there though, lots of fishing hooks in the rocks, found out the hard way after Brewfest ?
Cold, tasty beer on a beautiful warm June afternoon. The pretzel was very good too.Proceeds support a good cause.
