The food is great and authentic l. The service is warm and inviting. When I stepped into to l the restaurant, the atmosphere, the smell of delicious Mexican food to me back to a really good place. We will definitely be back.

Doesn’t look much from the outside, but inside is very nice and tastefully decorated. One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten in, and I ate in a lot of them over the last 60 years. Had Mexico Lindo and it was just amazing. Wife had vegetarian burrito and just loved it. Service was top notch, super friendly, prices very reasonable.

I recently had a very odd experience and feel someone at this restaurant takes advantage of tourists. I was there this past week and had a great time up until after I had paid, I’m quite certain I paid the bill in full with a tip and I’m really not one to place blame and get upset and I’m a server myself… however, I paid my bill and as I was walking away my waiter stopped me and said I must have mixed up a $20 with a $1. I know I didn’t do this and believe they swapped it themselves and then wanted me to pay even more to have a complete bill. In the moment I didn’t want to start any problems and I guess I gave them the benefit of the doubt in me maybe getting mixed up. But I’ve been thinking of this and I actually double checked what I put down before giving it to them and it was the full bill plus a 20% tip. This made me feel super uncomfortable and I did end up giving them the money they said I still owed but again, I feel I was scammed and taken advantage of my kindness. This is just to advise anyone else who goes there to maybe even take a photo of the cash you put down or pay in card, I’m kicking myself now for letting them trick me.

Waited 2 hours for a cheeseburger and it was the size of a slider not as advertised. Should have gone to McDonald's and got a large number nine meal. Would have cost less and there would have been more food 💀
Really really good food but service was not the best. Waited over an hour for food and the server checked on us once and instead of getting me a refill on my water and our salsa, he took it and never came back with it.

possibly the best mexican restaurant ive ever been to, and i live in Madison and regularly go to california, both places with much larger latino populations than minoqua. the street tacos (mexican style) with pastor and the stuffed pineapple were particularly good
