Let's start with the good, service and atmosphere were both spectacular. If you were to just stop in for a drink it would probably be 4 star. Unfortunately we stopped for food, bad choice. Salad had been frozen, so lettuce was not crisp, but rubbery. French onion soup was actually a highlight. Table bread was stale and hard. We had 3 main courses. Steak and scallops, steak was prepared correctly, but no spices and it was broiled, so filet tasted more like chuck. Scallops were beyond rubbery into hard territory. Side was french fries (for all meals). I counted no more than 10 french fries on any plate. Another plate had a ruben brat, brat had grizzle in every bite. The pinnacle was the chicken sandwich. No grain to the chicken, it was just a processed meat patty like you would get out of Tyson. Be better, serve food that is at the price point you are selling, which is upper end. Very disappointed.

Went for the fish fry on a Friday. Very good Brandy Old Fashion sour. The fish was very good. Portion was perfect size. Very tasty cheese soup.

Things started out good good wise the cheese curds were great, my fiancé enjoyed her soup, I enjoyed my salad, and even her main course (fish fry) was good.
