We came to your restaurant on Saturday August 30th with 11 people at 4:20 and waited for our meals to arrive at 5:30. I don’t blame the server but I’m not sure what happened in the kitchen. In my mind this is very bad service . The meal turned out fine for some and really good for others, however the time really ruined it for us. This was the response! If you are looking for a restaurant , pass this one up If you were the only table in the building and had to wait for a bit I would like to hear the complaint but on busy holiday Saturday and the tables were full I’m sure my kitchen staff did the best they could to get food done as fast as they could and don’t want to hear it. If you think you can do a better job running the place I’d love to raid an offer!

The food was AMAZING my husband got a fish sandwich that was great and I got there grilled chicken sandwich that was yummy. Plus gotta get the cheese curds! Our server Linda was the best! She was fast & attentive & friendly! The atmosphere was family friendly with games for kids it was loud but that didn't bother us, plus right off the water can't beat it. Will definitely be back & hopefully we get Linda again!

Mincoqua is generally an unsafe place to be right now. Local law enforcement is detaining and arresting visitors without cause.
This establishment should come out publicly against the abuses of law enforcement this past week.

People should stay far away from Minocqua. The city jails people without cause. Check out the Minocqua Brewing Co’s FB page. Teachers and doctors were jailed by local police by exercising their right to protest peacefully. Stay away.

My table had the Wild Rice Clam Chowder and the Whale Delux - both of which were awesome. The Whale Delux was probably the best fish sandwich was probably the best I have ever had in the United States. The staff were friendly and the bathrooms were clean. This place is wheelchair accessible.

Definitely our favorite go to place when we visit the area. Love their drinks and the staff is always friendly. The food is pretty good and hasn’t seem to change in many years. It would be great to see something new every once in awhile but otherwise we highly suggest going here.
